Members of the EdMedia Multidisciplinary Research Group (MRG) and the Cyprus Interaction Lab (CIL) had a strong presence during the 13th CSCL conference at Lyon, France held between 17-21 June 2019.  In particular, the conference was attended by the Associate Professor Andri Ioannou (Coordinator of the EdMedia MRG & Director of the Cyprus Interaction Lab) and Dr. Yiannis Georgiou (Postdoctoral Researcher at the EdMedia MRG and at the Cyprus Interaction Lab). 

Dr. Andri Ioannou, who was invited to present her work, in a special session entitled: “What can 4E cognition tell us about the successes and failures of CSCL implementation?”. In addition, Dr. Yiannis Georgiou received a scholarship to attend the CSCL Early Career Workshop (CSCL ECW 2019) through a competitive procedure; as part of the workshop he presented his research work entitled “Towards the Development of an Evidence-based Framework for Immersion in Digitally Enhanced Learning Environments”. 

In addition, members of  the EdMedia MRG and CIL  participated at the conference with three paper presentations, as follows:
